My 15 Most Anticipated Games For The Rest of 2025
When I look at 2025 so far, I’d honestly say that this year has fallen just a touch short of 2023 and 2024. That isn’t a big knock at all. I thought 2023 and 2024 were historic, and 2025 is just a little behind. Despite this, I still constantly feel overwhelmed with the number of…

My 29 Biggest Winners From The 2025 Summer Game Fest
The beautiful thing if you truly love video games it that there are almost no bad showcases ever. There are just some that are better than others. My Top 10 Video Game Launch Lineups Ever
Video game console launches can be a beautiful thing. As my friend Paul wrote about this week, there can be a magic in the air at midnight when there is a line full of “caffeinated nerds” ready to bring their newest electronic baby home. My 10 Biggest Winners From The Six One Indie Showcase
One thing that I’ve really enjoyed about this blog is that it has pushed me to go past my comfort zone on several occasions. While I’m open to almost any genre out there, I’ve played enough video games over the years where I can usually tell if I’m not going to like a game. Even…

My Top 10 Video Game IPs That I Wish Were In Different Hands
Last week, I read an interesting article with rumors that Ubisoft was looking to sell some of its IPs to help keep its struggling business afloat. It does not appear that this was true. It looks more like Ubisoft wants to spin off its business into two separate entities, with one holding its more prominent…

BigNerdGaming’s Top 10 Original Xbox Games
It’s funny how easily we can get wrapped up into different gaming ecosystems as a kid based on events that are likely somewhat outside of our control. I don’t think many kids or even teenagers are doing deep dives of research to determine which gaming console is going to be the best for them. And…
